We will have huge open-space areas and surrounding camp sites for all to camp in.  The fee is $20 for all weekend and includes gate admission for both days.  

All camping proceeds go to the
Veterans Memorial Museum.

Please register online for camping so that we can know approximate numbers ahead and be better prepared.

Food vendors will be available on 

Saturday and Sunday.  

— There are no power hookups at the River. You may bring generators.

— There will be ice and water for sale on-site on Saturday and Sunday. There will be a spigot for potable water near the entrance gate.

— Fires will be allowed unless there is a burn ban in effect.  We will have firewood for sale on site.  You may also bring your own.  We have some fire pits that you will be able to use.  You are welcome to use one of ours, bring your own, or hang out where there is one.  Please do not dig fire pits in the grass.

If there is a burn ban, then only propane fire pits will be allowed.

— Due to the number of people expected, please keep your dogs on a leash when not directly in your campsite.

— The Cowlitz River runs along the event area.  There is river and beach access available.  The river is glacial melt, and can be quite cold, even in August.  Please do not let your children go to the river unattended.

— There are trees all around, but the Spectator Area  has little shade. Camping Areas have more shade, depending on where you are at.  Please plan accordingly.

—Speed Limit on the property is 7mph. It doesn’t matter what type of vehicle you are in or on.  If you want to go fast, then enter to race on the HooptieX track.  ATV’s,  golf carts, bikes, etc, should only be used to go from the camp areas to the spectator areas and back.  The property is NOT a dirt bike/ATV track. 

—We are a FAMILY FRIENDLY event.  Lack of respect and consideration for other campers, or the property, will NOT be tolerated.  There will be no warnings, you will just be asked to leave.
